Annual Catalogue 2019-20, Tutorial

Simple Stamping #43 Nautical themed card

Welcome to today’s blog – A lovely simple stamping nautical themed card

Hi and welcome to another Simple Stamping Project. Episode 43 today can you believe it. I was late in posting this as I’ve been extremely busy lately. I chose the come sail away suite for this nautical themed card – this suite features in our annual catalogue and I just love it.

I used night of navy card base, balmy blue colour themed Dsp from the set and very vanilla for the stamping layer. Although this started off as a simple stamping project, it did develop into a card incorporating blending, layering etc. However, I’m confident you can take something away to do at home.

The card started as simple stamping but quickly developed into a more complex card.

I hope you like today’s project.

Instructions and Measurements:

Card Base and Layers
Card base is 4 1/8″ x 5 7/8″
DSP Matt Layer 3 7/8″ x 5 1/2″
Stamping Layer is 3 1/2″ x 5 1/8″

I started by stamping various images in a variety of colours and cut out a piece to fit my card.
I then tried to blend the edges of the stamping layer and ended up blending the whole piece of card. I think it looks quite nice.
I then stamped and added my sentiment section and adhered it all together.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog today.
