Welcome to today’s blog learning how to create this Simple Stamping Handmade Card – Pink Meerkats
Hi and welcome to another blog post. Today is the 46th Simple Stamping episode and today I am using the Gangs All Meer Stamp set with some Blushing Bride cardstock and co-ordinating ink to create this Pink Meerkats card.
Choosing Blushing Bride for the colour theme today was easy as I’ve not really seen any cards made in this colour using this stamp set. This card consists of layering up some cardstock with whisper white, then added my stamping layers too, in the same colours.
Accidents happen and I accidentally smudged some ink onto the front so decided to use the Woven Threads Sequins to cover up my bloop. I think these sequins go rather well with this card.

Instructions
My card base measures 4 1/8″ x 5 7/8″
My whisper white layer is 3 7/8″ x 5 3/4″
You can decide on the right size of stamping layers that suit your taste.
I simply stamped a sentiment and image onto the front of card on the stamping layer.
After smudging some ink in a place it shouldn’t be I added some sequins to cover it up and things worked out alright in the end.
I finished off by stamping a sentiment on the top centre of the first whisper white matt layer too.
Did you know that when it comes to card making, sometimes less is actually more. It is my hope that I can show you how to make simple cards using the simple stamping method.
