🧡🎃 Let’s Make a Fabulous Handmade Gift Box! 🎁✨
Get ready to create a gorgeous full-coverage gift box with stunning stamped details and a stylish belly band – perfect for any occasion! 🥰. Follow along with these fun & easy step-by-step instructions! ⬇️⬇️
✂️📏 Box Base & Lid
🔸 Cut Pumpkin Pie Cardstock to 8″ x 8″ – this is your box base!
🔸 For the lid, cut your DSP to 8-1/16″ x 8-1/16″ – that tiny extra bit gives a nice snug fit! 🧡📦
📐🧵 Scoring & Cutting
🟠 Score BOTH pieces (lid & base) at 2″ on all 4 sides.
✂️ Cut up and mitre each glue tab for neat corners.
➰ On the lid, punch out two half circles on opposite sides to make opening a breeze!
🛠️ Assemble the base & lid with tombow adhesive. So satisfying! 🙌
🎨🖍️ Stamping, Colouring & Die Cutting
🌼 Stamp your chosen image from the Charming Day Stamp Set
🖌️ Colour using Stampin’ Write Markers – I used Lost Lagoon 💙 and Mossy Meadow 💚
🔄 Die cut your image using the matching die.
✨ Cut out a few flourishes using Basic White and Pretty Peacock cardstock – they add SO much charm! 💫
💬 Don’t forget to stamp a sentiment too – you’ll need it soon!
🎯🎀 Create the Focal Point
📏 Cut a 3″ x 3″ mat in Timid Tiger, and a 2-3/4″ square mat in white.
🧡 Layer them and stick them right on top of your box – it’s the perfect spotlight for your design! 🌟
🧵🎁 Belly Band Magic!
🔲 Die cut the second-largest square from the Stylish Shapes Dies
💌 Stamp your sentiment in the center
🎀 Cut a length of ribbon from the suite, wrap it around the box and stick the square piece on top (I used Tear n Tape)
🌿 Now for the fun part — arrange your stamped images & flourishes under/around your sentiment square. Crafty layering 🥳
✨💎 Finishing Touches
🌟 Add 3 shimmer faceted dots from the Charming Shimmer collection wherever you like on the front for that sparkly wow! 💫💎
