These gorgeous bags come in two sizes. The size I’m using today is 5-3/4 height by 4-1/2 width x 2-1/2, the larger of the two.

🌸 Let’s Make a Fabulous Decorated Gift Bag 👜
Get ready to create a gorgeous gift bag with stunning stamped details and stylish background paper – perfect for any occasion! 🥰 Follow along with these fun & easy step-by-step instructions! ⬇️
👜 The Bag
🔸 This project starts with a pre-made bag from our packaging collection. Note: This particular bag sold out within three days of me designing this project – it was that popular!
📐 Cutting & Preparing
✂️ Cut Designer Series Paper (DSP) to 5-1/4″ x 4″
✂️ Cut a 2″ piece off the bottom and flip it over
🛠️ Glue both pieces to the front of your bag
🎨 Stamping & Coloring
🌼 Stamp your chosen image from the Charming Day Stamp Set
🖌️ Color using Stampin’ Write Markers – I used:
- Blackberry Bliss 💙
- Mossy Meadow 💚
🔄 Die cut your colored image using the matching die
✂️ Die cut a square from the Stylish Shapes Dies
💬 Don’t forget to stamp a sentiment on the square – you’ll need it next!
🎯 Creating the Focal Point
📏 Attach the stamped square to the front of the bag where the DSP overlaps using Dimensionals
🌟 Layer the stamped die-cut piece on the bottom left corner of the square – it’s the perfect spotlight for your design!
✨ Finishing Touches
💎 Add 3 shimmer faceted dots from the Charming Shimmer collection wherever you like on the front for that extra sparkle!
🍬 Fill with goodies or sweet treats
🔒 Seal closed using a silver bulldog clip
🎉 The Final Result
And voilà! What a fabulous little bag – full coverage, super stylish, and completely different from my usual style… and I absolutely LOVE it! 💕🎁
