The story behind this delightful creation is quite special! The inspiration came from a tiny 2″ version I was gifted as a swap by a fellow team mate a couple of years ago. I recently rediscovered it tucked away in my craft cupboard and thought, “This would be absolutely perfect in a bigger size!”

So I got to work designing my 2-3/4″ version, making sure it could be crafted from a standard A4 sheet rather than dipping into my precious 12 x 12 cardstock stash. Smart crafting at its finest! 🧠

Step-by-Step Instructions 📝

Ready to create your own adorable triangular gift box? Here’s exactly how to do it:

Materials Needed 🛍️

• A4 cardstock
• North Pole Designer Series Paper
• Trimmer
• Snips
• Adhesive
• Corner rounder (optional but recommended)
• Closure (glue dots or hook and loop circles)

Cutting and Scoring 📏

1. Prepare your cardstock: Take a piece of A4 cardstock and cut it down to 11-1/4″ x 6-3/4″
2. Score the long side: With the long side at the top, score at:
   • 2-3/4″
   • 5-1/2″
   • 8-1/4″
   • 11″
3. Score the short side: With the short side at the top, score at:
   • 2-3/4″
   • 5-1/2″
4. Add vertical scores as per the diagram
5. Cut following the diagram pattern

Preparing Your Designer Series Paper 🎨

1. Cut two pieces measuring 2-5/8″ squared
2. Cut one piece measuring 2-5/8″ x 1-1/8″

Finishing Touches ✨

1. Round the corners of your box flap
2. Round the corners of the smaller piece of DSP (on two corners only)
3. Adhere layers to your box following the diagram placement

Assembly Time! 🔧

Follow this gluing sequence for perfect results:

1. First: Attach the small side flap
2. Second: Secure the base using this sequence:
   • Two small flaps to inner square
   • End square last
3. Third: Round the corners of your lid for that professional finish – oh don’t forget to add a temporary closure such as a glue dot or a hook and loop piece.
4. Finally: Decorate to your liking – I used a little pop out die cut image!

The Final Result 🎉
