Getting Creative with My Latest Stamp Sets! ✂️✨
Guess who managed to get a little creativity in this evening! 🎨
My two latest stamp sets are called Peaceful Days and Stay Warm, and both feature in the latest mini catalogue (September to December 2025). 📚
Peaceful Days Stamp Set 🌼
The Peaceful Days Stamp Set consists of nine stamps mixed between images and sentiments to allow you to celebrate your good days, happy places, and favourite people with scrapbook pages made using this set. These images and sentiments are perfect for any occasion, or even just to capture everyday memories, all year long. 💛 The set also complements our Peaceful Days Scrapbooking Workshop Kit beautifully!
I decided to stamp the little tabs as I want to add them in to my planner or journal- many uses not just for scrapbooking!
Stay Warm Stamp Set 🧣
The Stay Warm Stamp Set is adorable too! Colour in the delightful line-art images of a jumper, beanie, socks, mittens, and a heart (just for fun!) for personalised winter wear. ❄️ Ideal for card making and scrapbooking, you’ll love adding these charming images to your paper projects.
This is a Reversibles stamp set; it includes specialised photopolymer stamps that allow you to stamp with both sides of the stamp for greater versatility. How clever is that? 🙌
An Evening of Fussy Cutting ✨
This evening I had to use them! I spent all afternoon and most of the evening (I know, another ME crash 😔) in bed recharging after a visit to the office. It was a bit too much stimulation and activity for me today, hence the crash. However, all wasn’t lost as I did stamp some images with my latest stamp sets, and took these with me to sit and fussy cut out whilst temporarily incapacitated.
New to Fussy Cutting? 🤔
What is it, you ask? It’s the process of selectively cutting out specific designs, images, or shapes from a piece of paper. Papercrafters often use fussy cut images to add dimension and layer onto our projects to create a pretty stand-out focal point. 🎯
It’s a skill that improves with practice. I find that keeping relaxed and moving the paper to the scissors’ tension point rather than the scissors to the paper is far easier to do. ✂️
By focusing on the task at hand, I feel fussy cutting promotes mindfulness in the moment of here and now. 🧘♀️ How fabulous is the polished pink colour on these tag stamps!!
As with any task using a sharp instrument such as scissors, show care and attention to keep ourselves free from injury! 💚
