Project #MakeItMonday, SALE-A-Bration 2019

#MakeItMonday Project Make Episode 1 – Four-Fold Card (sorry it's late!)

EP1 Makeitmonday (4)
Welcome to Episode 1 – Four Fold Card Project #MakeItMonday
Now I do apologise as this new series for Monday’s is very late being published, but it’s still Monday right?  Anyway, I have made this super sturdy four-fold card using the lovely gingham gala cardstock pack and co-ordinating inks – all of which also co-ordinate with the DSP I used, the beautiful Botanical Butterflies!!

Check out my YouTube Tutorial link below where I show you how to put this stunning card together. I have also detailed all of the products used as well as the measurments for this card 🙂

Project Recipe:
Card Base: –
Cut a piece of 12×12″ cardstock down to 11 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
With the longest side of your card base to the top, place on scoreboard and score at 1/4″, 3 3/4″ and 7 1/4″
Turn your cardstock to the right so that the previous 1/4″ scoreline is now at the top of your scoreboard and score at 5/8″ down to the last score line only and not the edge of the paper.
Trim off the smallest rectangle area and the next rectangle.
Fold and burnish accordian style.
With the 1/4″ flap to the front, cut and adhere a further piece of cardstock measuring 4 2/8″ x 5 4/8″.
Mat and DSP Layer sections: –
Mats:

  • 2 x 2 5/8″ x 4 1/8″ for front and inside
  • 2 x 3 3/8″ x 4 6/8″ for two middle sections inside
  • 1 x 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ for the back page inside

DSP Layer:

  • 2 x 2 4/8″ x 4″ for front and inside
  • 2 x 3 2/8″ x 4 5/8″ for two middle sections inside
  • 1 x 4″ x 5 2/8″ for back page (and a stamping layer for centre of back page)

Decoration:

  • Add stamping layer as you wish by using either the triple banner punch or fussy cut by hand.
  • Add embellishments of choice
