Hello everyone,

Well, that is our first Weekly Sketch Challenge for period 1st to 7th June complete and I am so happy to those who took part – it really is amazing how everyone creativity based on the same layout is different -I absolutely love seeing your crafty creations!

So this was the sketch: A seemingly simple card but more difficult than you first think!

Entry 1 –

This was my own entry and I was quite pleased with the outcome – just match some DSP and co-ordinating cardstock colours and it is so much easier!

Entry 2 –

This card is by the lovely Brenda Harrison. I love the colour combinations on this card with the added embellishments. I do love the bubbles stamp. Thanks for participating Brenda !

Entry 3:

This Card is by Elaine Thomson Smith. I would never have thought of using stamps to get this desired effect – what a clever idea! Love the Rococo Rose and Seaside Spray colour combo! Thanks for taking part Elaine !

This adorable card is by Margaret Johnstone. What a fabulous card with all the cute teddy bears and flowers. I love how you have inked around the die cuts 🙂 The teddy stamps go really well on that cardstock! Well done and thanks for entering.

Now this fabulous card is by Louise Wheeler (Louise is one of my #teamsmithy ladies and I’m so proud of how creative she is. I love how this card incorporates some stamping, die cutting and 3d effects too! Thanks for participating Louise ! Are those mirror embellishments? How fab!
