Welcome to smithscraftycreations.com

Today I am showcasing you all of the lovely card sketch challenges submitted this week from the lovely members of my Crafty Stamping Club FB Group Page.

I love to see all the different ways that people interpret a sketch challenge.  Thank you to everyone who took part – I appreciate every one of you guys 🙂

Now, although this sketch looks rather simple, when you come to designing your own card the same, I found it a little difficult and fidgety lol BUT I persevered and challenged myself and was happy with the outcome.

Look at these beautiful cards – you can see each of them individually further down this page 🙂

Entry 1 is from the lovely Helen Chandler from Helen’s Heart Creations – Gorgeous card Helen thank you for sharing with us – and thank you for being extremely organised in submitting your sketch lol ! I love how you have combined the Woven Threads DSP with the new In-Colours. And that font is lush!

Entry 2 is from the awesome Ann Law Kirkby I love your colour combo hun, that DSP is so cute! Thank you so much for sharing with us 🙂

Entry 3 is from the fabulous Heather Forgen from Stamp with Nellie!  Just look at that gorgeous embossed background layer – this goes fantastic with the perennial essence DSP hun, and the Gorgeous grape (it may be Highland Heather?). Thank you so much.

Entry 4 was my own card which I found a challenge to start with but I got there in the end.  I used basic black cardstock and hand stamped my background layer, I actually added clear embossing powder to the ink and heat set – but you can’t see this in the photo that well.

Entry 5 is just stunning and this entry is from the lovely Brenda Harrison – This is one of my favourite sketch cards yet Mrs, thank you so much for sharing with us. That garden lane goes great with your Bloom and Grow image – thanks to your great colour choices x
