Free online handmade card for Grandma, Gran, Nanna, Granny – step by step tutorial

This is a very pretty handmade card made by Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Tricia Smith, based in Fife, Scotland, UK

Hello and welcome to this tutorial. I have made this card as part of my Facebook Group “Crafty Stamping Club” Card Sketch Challenge – why not join us, its fun and full of inspiration. You’ll find a link further down this blog. For this card I am using my new in-colour 2019-2021 stampin’ write markers which have not long arrived. I am also using the co-ordinating cardstock and DSP. I also used the Stitched Shapes Dies.

Instructions and Measurements:

Cut A4 Sheet down to 10 x 5 inches and score in the middle at the 5″ Mark
Cut a piece of your Co-ordinating DSP down to 4 7/8″ x 4 7/8″
Cut four pieces of whisper white using the second largest square die (it measures just over 2″ square once cut)
Stamp and colour images on two of the squares and adhere diagonally to each other.
For the other two squares, stamp a sentiment and or image and adhere to the two remaining spaces on the card.
Add co-ordinating embellishments to complete the card
If you have time, like I did, add a layered sentiment section to the inside too – or another matt layer.

I really love how cute and elegant this set is, almost cartoon-like. It works with lots of different colours really well, I’ve made a few cards with this set now.
