Free online handmade card tutorial – Love, Family, Friendship, Kindness and Appreciate
This is a unique and elegant family, wedding, engagement themed card made by Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Tricia Smith, based in Fife, Scotland, UK
Hello and welcome to ‘MakeitMonday.
Today’s project is a petal pink / white themed appreciation card using both the praisworthy prose bundle and daisy lane stampset. I also incorporated some die cuts using the Be Mine stitched dies.
Instructions and Measurements:
The card base and matt are whisper white. Base measures 4 1/8 x 5 3/4 inches, the matt layer (petal pink) measures 4 x 5 5/8 inches and I have embossed this with the tufted dynamic embossing folder.
I used two of the larger heart dies to produce x1 solid heart (which I embossed as matt layer) and x1 framed hear. I adhered these to the card interlinking them I die cut out the word love from the hand lettered prose die set and adhered to the heart. I then added a 1.5″ strip of petal pink and stamped the “family sentiment quote” on there in petal pink.
I hand stamped two daisys in the same colour and two leaves in mint macaron. I fussy cut the flowers and punched the leaves with my leaf punch. I adhered the floral cut outs to the end of the sentiment banner and finished off the card by adding a wink of stella to the centres of the daisies and also the word “love”.
