Pressed Petals Handmade Bookmark - Stampin' Up! 2019

Free online handmade Bookmark step by step tutorial using the pressed petals suite.

This is an elegant and very floral bookmark made by Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Tricia Smith, based in Fife, Scotland, UK

Hello and welcome to smithscraftycreations.com I am so happy that you are joining me today. So today’s project is a lovely little bookmark which I have made for a customer thank you gift. I am using the pressed petals DSP as well as some lovely crumb cake cardstock.

I started by cutting a piece of cardstock down to 5 1/2 x 2 inches
I added a layer of DSP which is 1/8″ shorter and thinner I cut both these parts with the scalloped tag topper punch
I then cut out two circle shapes, the largest is mossy meadow cardstock the smaller is crumb cake
Using rich razzleberry ink I stamped a Thank You sentiment on the smaller circle. I adhered this to the larger layer then applied to the bookmark using dimensions
I then used my leaf punch to punch out two crumb cake coloured leaves and attached these under the sentiment area
I finished off the bookmark with some basic adhesive backed sequins, whisper white polka tulle ribbon for the top and some wink of stella on my leaves.
