Free online handmade card step by step tutorial incorporating Designer Series Paper made by Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Tricia Smith, based in Fife, Scotland, UK
I hope you will enjoy my new Series which is all about that DSP! So whether it is Clean and Simple Cards (CAS) or Love it Chop It Cards…. it will certainly be with one DSP or another 🙂
Hello and welcome to this brand new series which is “All About That DSP!” Episode 1. I hope that you will enjoy the series as much as I think I’ll enjoy making each episode.
So for this card I have used a Whisper White Base measuring 4 1/8″ x 5 7/8″ and the DSP layer is 4 x 5 3/4″ inches.
Because my DSP was previously cut down to 6 x 6 I trimmed this down and was left with an extra strip. I decided to turn it over and use the reverse strip and triple banner punch it at the bottom. The reverse side of this sheet is the lovely Rococco Rose – one of our new in-colours this year. I added a polka tulle whisper white bow to the bottom of the banner too – love it!
I then added the two largest stitched shape dies, the largest in mossy meadow and the the second in whisper white. I then stamped a sentiment in the co-ordinating Rococco Rose ink.
I added some punched leaves and sprig shapes around the sentiment area and coloured some with the Wink of Stella. I finished the card with some clear epoxy droplet shapes.
I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial – please reference the youtube video below as well as the additional project photographs.
