Handmade Gift Card Holder – Wallet Size – Stampin’ Up!
Free Step by Step Guide on how to make a handmade gift card holder
Thank you for visiting the blog today – I have made this handmade gift card wallet using the Night Before Christmas Suite by Stampin’ Up!
I love how this can fit inside a card, your purse, your wallet. You can even adhere to the inside of a christmas card leaving plenty room to write a sentiment.
I used co-ordinating inks in the colours of Mossy meadow, Crushed curry and Cherry cobbler. The rhinestones I used are called Basic Red Rhinestones.
Instructions and Measurements
Wallet Base
Cut a piece of 6×6 DSP down to 5 1/2″ x 4″
Along the longest side score at 1 inch and 3 1/2 inch.
Round the two corners of the smallest section as this is our fold over flap
Glue Two sides together using tear and tape – burnish well.
Belly band
Cut the 2″ strip you have left down to 1″ and wrap around wallet by hand, and adhere together, make sure it isn’t too tight as you need to be able to slide the belly band on and off.
Add a layered section in the centre using punch shapes or die cut shapes.
Decoration
Stamp and decorate to your liking, I added ribbon underneath my circle layer section.
