New Home Card

Learn how to incorporate two stamp sets together to make a new home card

Hi and welcome to today’s blog. I decided to use two stamp sets together to make a new home / friends as neighbours style card using both the From our house to yours and the Grandma’s House stamp sets.

When I struggle to be creative with my cards, I like to look at previous projects and change them up a little, either by changing colour scheme, layout or stamp sets used.

I hope you like today’s card.

I used Grandma’s House stamp set for the main design and feature of this card, and a couple of sentiments from the other stamp set.

Grandma’s House stamp set is in our annual catalogue and From our house to yours, in our holiday catalogue – why not Contact me for a free copy.

The colours I chose were Balmy Blue and Seaside Spray. I also incorporated the use of my stampin’ blends in these colours also.

I love how you can mix up product and get good results 🙂 win win

All products used are listed below for your perusal.

Instructions and Measurements:

Card base measures 4 1/8″ x 5 7/8″ and is in Seaside Spray colour.
My three circle areas are whisper white as is the sentiment layer.

Step one is to stamp tone on tone onto your card base (seaside Spray).

Step two is to stamp three images, colour them with your selected choice of blends and punch out using a circle punch or die cut them out.

Step three is to stamp and cut out a sentiment.

I adhered all of the die cuts and layers onto the card using wet glue – if you wish you can give some extra dimension to the card by using dimensionals.
