Learn how to use your christmas DSP for other uses
Hi and welcome to today’s blog which is Simple Stamping #36 I decided to use the Beautiful Promenade stamp set for my Simple Stamping handmade card Project today – it didn’t go quite as I had planned but it turned out okay in the end after adding a flap to the front of the card.
Sometimes when we start a card with a rough idea in our mind, it doesn’t always pan out that way – that’s what I love about cardmaking, you can change it up as you go!
I hope you like today’s card.
Beautiful Promenade stamp set is in our annual catalogue – why not Contact me for a free copy.
The colours I chose were Balmy Blue, Smokey Slate and Bermuda Bay.
I love how you can mix up colours and get good results 🙂 win win
All products used are listed below for your perusal.
Instructions and Measurements:
Card Base is Purple posy and measures 4 1/8″ x 5 7/8″
DSP layer is 2/8″ shorter on both sides so 3 7/8″ x 5 1/2″
I used the 2″ and 1 3/4″ circle punches for the sentiment.
Because I do not have purple posy ink I used my Stampin’ Write Markers to add colour to my red rubber sentiment stamp.
I finished the card off with the very versatile basic rhinestone jewels.
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog today.
