Learn how to utilise your DSP to make beautiful handmade cards
Hi and welcome to today’s blog tutorial which “All About that Designer Series Paper – Episode 10. Today’s tutorial is not one but two cards using the stunning See a Silhouette Suite! Just remarkable I think, don’t you agree? Stunning.
The designer series paper chosen today is the Co-ordinating See a Silhouette paper which is a bright, colourful and happy paper. A truly stunning DSP for sure. Make sure you subscribe to my YouTube Channel while you are here so that you don’t miss any future projects (click image below).
Isn’t this Designer Series Paper just gorgeous!
Card One above is my favourite project this week. The DSP does all of the hard work for you – just cut it and adhere to your card base. I did use Stazon Black Ink for a deeper blacker stamped image. I absolutely love the Silhouette Scenes co-ordinating stamp set.
Card Two (above) is just as stunning as the first, this time I opted for the red side of the DSP and stamped, again in stazon black, the image of the couple together. I finished the card by adding some rain drop shaped clear epoxy shapes (retired sorry!).
I hope you like both of the projects today, as much as I liked making them.

Instructions and Measurements:
Card Base and Layers
Card bases are both basic black cardstock measuring 4 1/8″ x 5 7/8″
DSP layers are 4″ x 5 3/4″
I stamped both images and sentiments in Black Stazon Ink.
I added some clear embellishments to the second card, the first card I feel is beautiful enough as it is.
