Welcome to Make it Monday Episode 42

Hi and welcome to another project for my Make it Monday series.

This card was made a few weeks back for a Stampin’ for All Facebook Group Colour Challenge. I love how the three colours turned out as they did when blended together. So saffron, Pool Party and Blackberry Bliss.

I decided to use the Bloom and Grow stamp set and added a masked section to split the image in two to allow me to add a sentiment in the middle. I used blackberry bliss for the card base, basic black for the matt layer and normal whisper white card stock for the blended layer.

I then added more colour using my co-ordinating Stampin’ Blends pens. I love how this turned out and had so much fun making it. Thanks for the challenge.

Instructions and Measurements:

Card Base and Layers
Card base is 4.1″ x 5 7/8″
Matt Layer is 4″ x 5 3/4″
Top layer (blended layer) is 3 7/8″ x 5 3/8″

All layers have a 1/8″ decrease of increments.

I opted not to add embellishments as the card is beautiful enough in its own form.
