Welcome to today’s Make it Monday #50 Lovely Lily Pad Handmade Card
Hi and welcome to another blog post. Today is episode #50 of the Make it Monday Series and today we are making an adorable Lovely Lily Pad themed handmade card incorporating some masking of the stamps too.
Both the stamp set and the DSP are free Level 1 items in our sale-a-bration brochure which means, if you spend £45 you can pick either or as your free gift.
By embossing the sentiment layer with our Gold Emboss Powder, it made for a perfect match with the gold and black DSP.
Blackberry Bliss was my chosen colour for the card base and layered section. I love how bold and beautiful a colour it is. Garden Green, So Saffron, Pool Party and Blackberry bliss ink colours were used to create this awesome card.
For the sentiment I used Hello from another stamp set called Grace’s Garden and the font is just lovely.

Instructions
My card base measures 4 1/8″ x 5 7/8″
My DSP measures 3 7/8″ x 5 3/4″
You can choose what size your sentiment layers can be, mines measures approximately 2″ x 3″ and reduces in increments as we add layers.
The first step was the stamping of the images onto post it notes and fussy cut them out. I then stamped in sections adding a mask each time I stamped which you can see better in the tutorial below.
Finally, I adhered all the layers together and added my sentiment.
