Hello and thank you so much for joining me for yet another Simple Stamping Project Blog – #50 – can you believe it’s episode 50 already. Today’s Project is about handmade Easter Spring Card Ideas..

The stamp sets I’m using today are Fable Friends which is a great stamp set with various sentiments in it for various occasions.

What an adorable card, I chose the Goose stamps as I just love how it represents family time. I also coloured the images using various Stampin’ Blend Colours.

Colours for today were mainly Seaside Spray which is one of our current incolours for this year and next. I also used Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam and balmy Blue and Daffodil Delight for colouring.

I added some co-ordinating Seaside Spray ribbon and some of the Woven Threads Sequins which match perfectly.

Instructions and Measurements:

My card base is whisper white and measures 4 1/8″ x 5 7/8″
My Matt layer in Seaside Spray is 3 7/8″ x 5 3/4″
My stamping layer is whisper white and measures 3″ x 4 1/2″

I wanted to stamp tone on tone on the matt layer so added a sentiment in each corner. I think this looks awesome.

I then stamped, coloured and fussy cut out the mother goose.

Using my Stamparatus (R) I stamped the three baby geese so that I could get a thicker stamped image, mainly because a) its a new stamp and b) I’m using a grey coloured ink for the outline.

I added ribbon around the stamping layer before adhering together.

Mother goose was raised up using dimensionals.

I eye balled my sentiment layers according to the sentiment I chose. I also layered this up with dimensionals, but the mini ones.

I finished off the card by adding three different coloured sequins to the gaps in the top and bottom matt layer.
