Hello everyone and welcome to another blog post. Today is DSP #25 and I’v made a Handmade Card using the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set. Today’s project uses some of our beautiful designer series paper from the New Demo Freebie Pack

My matt later was the reverse side of a tropic style patter. I thought if I stamped in a similar colour I would get a lovely effect. And I sure did, how beautiful did this turn out.
Layering the card and the sentiment with whisper white really makes the card pop. And the Braided Linen Trim I added is just beautiful too.
I decided to keep a generic sentiment for this card, everyone needs a thank you card don’t they.

YouTube Tutorial – DSP #25 A Handmade Card idea using Good Morning Magnolia

Instructions:
Start off by cutting a piece of Crumb Cake Card stock across the shortest side at 5 7/8″ and fold in half to achieve a width of 4 1/8″.
For the matt layer one (whisper white) make sure this measures 4 x 5 3/4″ and adhere to card base.
For matt layer two use the DSP of your choice. Make sure that it is suitable for stamping on. Place in Stamparatus for precision stamping of your image. Adhere to card when complete.
Use a scrap piece of whisper white to stamp sentiment on then layer on to a piece of Crumb Cake Card stock. Trim down with your mini guillotine (only available to new joiners to Stampin’ Up!)
Before adhering your sentiment section using dimensions, run your snail adhesive on card front where you wish to position your ribbon first. Stick ribbon down and place your sentiment so that it part covers the ribbon.
Add card insert to inside and stamp / decorate as you wish.
