Make it Monday #59 Rubber Band Technique

Hello and welcome to another blog post I am so happy you are here today. Today’s Make it Monday episode #59 is a nice one for me as I’ve been longing to do this techniques for so long. The Rubber band Technique yay!

I was challenged by a team mate to use this technique so thank you for inspiring me!

So the main products used were Seriously the Best Stamp Set, Night of Navy Cardstock and Ink, Pacific Point Card Stock and Ink and my trusty Paper Snips!

Here is a closer look at the awesome stamp set used today. I do agree that it is Seriously the Best

Don’t you just love the blue tones in this card. They compliment each other really well.

I decided to layer up my sentiment and use good old fussy cutting!

Instructions:

Randomly place numerous rubber bands on an old stamping block. Mix it up between thin and thick rubber bands.

Starting with the lightest ink, apply to rubber bands and stamp randomly on your stamping layer of cardstock. White works the best.

Clean off and repeat, working your way up to the darkest shade.

Adhere all of your layers together.

Stamp a sentiment and layer up with co-ordinating colours of cardstock.

I don’t think this card needs any added embellishments or sparkle as it is amazing in it’s own entirety.
