Welcome to today’s Tasteful Touches for Team Scrimpy Blog Hop Project
Hi and welcome to my blog. Today’s card is a handmade card using the Tasteful Touches Stamp Set for Team Scrimpy Blog Hop this month. Colour choices for today’s card are Granny Apple Green and Soft Sea Foam stamped on to our lovely crisp Whisper White Card Stock.
Now I made a similar card to this the other week, which was actually inspired by my upline Amanda who had set us the challenge to be creative on said day. So, I thought I’d recreate the same kind of card but using different colours and stamped images.
Can you see how clean and crisp our red rubber cling stamps are. This is one of the reasons I love the products, not to mention the co-ordination of colours with each suite, which I love.
Instructions
Card Base is Granny Apple Green and Measures 4 1/8″ x 5 7/8″
Whisper White Stamping Layer is 1/4″ shorter and thinner – 3 7/8″ x 5 5/8″
Stamp your background on the whisper white layer and adhere to card.
Cut a piece of whisper white down to 1 7/8″ x 5 5/8″
Stamp on this strip before cutting down to 3 x 1 7/8″ x 1 7/8″ squares
You will need three Granny Apple Green squares measuring 2″x 2″ to layer up your white stamped squares.
You will also need a scrap piece of Granny Apple Green to layer up your sentiment or array of words from the sentiment.
Stamp the sentiment of choice on to whisper white and cut down to give yourself separate words to work with, or the one big sentiment if you prefer.
Adhere all of your elements in desired location on card, some adhered flush to the cardbase, some raised with dimensionals.
Add some wink of stella to the sentiment sections and some sequins if you wish.
