Welcome to today’s blog post to showcase the Team Scrimpy Blog Hop – Simple Stamping
Hi and welcome to my blog. Today’s cards are made using Gorgeous Posies – One sheet hand stamped made four cards. This method is great for batch making cards. It is therapeutic too! I’m taking part in Team Scrimpy Blog Hop again this month for a simple stamping project.
Please make sure you check out the other blog posts linked at the end of this page.
Colours used are Blushing Bridge, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Crushed Curry and Soft Sea Foam. Oh don’t forget garden green too for those leaf veins.
I started off by hand stamping my background, working in the middle out to the four edges of the cardstock. Like a cross effect. Simple Stamping does not need to be just a few stamped images and a sentiment. It can be a whole array of stamping. Just be creative and have fun!
Look how beautiful these cards turned out. Did you notice that three of these sentiments are actually layered on to our Colour Velveteen Paper. It cuts and punches out perfectly. Have a look at my four cards below.
Some of my stamping is second and third generation, for added tones.
My Cards are all Purple Posy bases with gorgeous grape matt layers.
To add some depth I stamped and fussy cut out some more floral images.
