Fussy Cutting Handmade Cards

My blog today is about three cards that I made the other night while I wasn’t feeling 100%. I was recharging in my bed and I took a fine notion to bring some crafty bits and bobs with me. I didn’t have a plan in my head, I simply grabbed some DSP, some Kraft Card and some co-ordinating embellishments. All products available in my online shop. Shop Link Here

I had so much fun making these with no set agenda in my mind. Just cut, glue and go.

About my projects

All cards are from the Notecards and Envelopes pack and are slightly smaller than C6. I randomly cut co-ordinating DSP, some Kraft Card and some images out. I then set to play!

Card 1 (top left) details some of the gold elements from the Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack. Can you see that I also used one of the pieces of thin tissue paper (found in between the ephemera sheets) to create a curtain effect behind my sentiment.

Card 2 (top right) was the quickest to make out of all three. Lots of layers and some ink added to the edges followed by a small strip of Blushing Bride Ribbon attached underneath and one of the stickers from the Hand Penned Memories and More pack.

Card 3 (bottom) took the longest to make, purely down to the fact that this detailed some fussy cutting elements, and some ribbon attached in a ripple effect. The sentiment was cut from one of the smaller memories and more cards.
