Z-fold Handmade Card
My blog today is to share my Z-fold Handmade Card Layout with you. There are a few mats and layers, thus a lot of cutting, for this card today.
Measurements:
- Card Base 6 x 12
- Long side to top score at 4 and 8
Inside Front Panel (on right)
- Full front mat inside of card measures 3-3/4 x 5-3/4
- DSP mat measures 3-1/2 x 5-1/2
Inside Front Panel (middle) for inside AND outside of card
- Mat measures 3-3/4 x 5-3/4
- DSP mat measures 3-1/2 x 5-1/2
Front Small Panel (on left)
- Mat one for front small panel measures 3-3/4 x 3-3/4
- DSP mat for front small panel measures 3-1/2 x 3-1/2
Cutting
- Card Base: Mark at 2″ on left side. Cut from this point to the second score line at the tip of the card
- Inside and Outside Panels (middle): Mark at 3-7/8 on one side and cut from there, diagonally to the right hand corner. For the DSP pieces mark at 3-1/2 and cut to corner. Make sure pattern is cut correct way for where positioning on card – one panel is cut left side to top right, the other is right side to top left.
- Front Small Panel (on left): Mark at 1-7/8 on one side and cut from here diagonally to furthest corner edge. Repeat for the DSP layer also with your marker being at 1-3/4
- Adhere all of your layers on to your card base.
- Add a sentiment layer, stamp and decorate as desired
