Dainty Birthday Wishes Gift Box
My blog today is to share my Dainty Birthday Wishes Gift Box with you. In fact, I’ve made two of these. One, the lid is full size as box, the other, the lid comes down the base of box half way!
I used our new Unbounded Beauty 12×12 DSP for these and one of our new in-colours – Summer Splash
Instructions base for both boxes:
- Cardstock measuring 3 x 5-1/2
– score at 3/4″ on all four sides
– fold and burnish
– cut up scores to meet opposite line to form your four glue tabs
– adhere together
You can see the half lid is the box that is sat on top of the other.
Instructions for full lid:
- DSP measuring 3-1/16th x 5-9/16ths
– score at 3/4″ on all four sides
– fold and burnish
– cut up scores to meet opposite line to form your four glue tabs
– adhere together
Instructions for half lid:
- DSP measuring 2-9/16ths x 5-1/16th
– score at 3/4″ on all four sides
– fold and burnish
– cut up scores to meet opposite line to form your four glue tabs
– adhere together
Decoration
Stamp and apply your sentiments – sizes dependent on what sentiment you choose.
Mine measures: 1-7/8 x 1″ for sentiment and the mat is 2″ x 1-1/8″. I also added some small die cut pop out flowers from our Fully Flowering Ephemera Pack.
