Let’s Celebrate Joy – Iconic Celebrations Card
My blog today is to share my Let’s Celebrate Joy – Iconic Celebrations Card with you. I am focusing on this collection this week as it is a new Online Exclusive that is due for launch on the 3rd of July. Such a versatile set, my previous blogs have focused on Christmas, but this one is for Autumn / Thanksgiving.
Products Required:
1. Cardstock (Cajun Craze, Basic White)
2. Iconic Celebrations Suite Collection (stamp, dies, DSP and ribbon)
3. Co-ordinating inks (Cajun Craze, Mossy Meadow, Basic Beige, Cherry Cobbler)
4. Spotlight on Nature Dies
5. Stampin’ Up! Trimmer / Scoreboard
6. Multipurpose Adhesive Glue
Instructions:
- Cut a piece of Cajun Craze Cardstock in half then fold to make your C6 card base
- Cut a piece of Basic White down to 3-7/8 x 5-5/8
- Cut a piece of DSP down to 3-5/8 x 5-3/8
- Adhere to card front
- Flip the remining left over piece of DSP and adhere to front of card too (you need to trim it slightly)
- Die cut out your choice of Circle Die from the Spotlight on Nature Dies (there’s 12 to choose from!)
- Stamp in two different colours, the sentiment “Let’s” ~ “Celebrate” ~ “Joy”
- Stamp and Die cut out lots of little flourishes
- Attach a piece of ribbon to your circle die cut then start laying on all your die cut pieces.
I absolutely love how this turned out – I don’t think there is a need for embellishments on this card!
