An update from Smithy’s Craft Room June 2025
My blog today is to share An update from Smithy’s Craft Room June 2025 with you.
April saw my family and I take our first vacation abroad in seven years to Benidorm in Spain! We were away for ten days and the full holiday was spent relaxing and doing pretty much that! We had such a good time together as a family. I did miss my dogs tremendously however, as they were in boarding kennels for the duration.
As a result, crafting went on the back burner for around one month! My first creation on my return was to make a 14th Birthday Card for my youngest son for his early June birthday.
This design was in line with my May’s Creative Inspiration Challenge Sketch which I do monthly over in my Facebook Group.
The products used are detailed below.
Products Required:
1. Basic White Cardstock
2.Pattern of Friendship Stamp Set and Choose Happy Stamp Set
3. Stampin’ Up! Trimmer / Simply Scored Score Board
4. Multipurpose Adhesive Glue
5. Stampin’ Up! Cut & Emboss Machine
6. Basic tools such as glue, wipes, snips etc.
7. Secret Sea Stamp Pad
8. Country Woods DSP
Instructions:
1. Basic White 6×6 card base
2. Cut out one panels of DSP and layer up on to your card front – I added two thin pieces of cardstock on top and bottom of this panel.
3. Stamp three small images on to white square panels and layer on some co-ordinating cardstock.
4. Adhere to card front panel.
5. Using Secret Sea ink, stamp a sentiment on to the card base. I also used an older stamp set for the 14th text.
Isn’t it cute! And so easy to make! Here is the sketch graphic:
