Today I bring you a #SimpleStamping array of handmade cards made using the Painted Seasons and All Adorned Stamp Sets.
(I thought the stamps in the Painted Season set were flowers during all of this stamping – they are pinecones – just different angled shots!! Thankfully I realised this before doing my YouTubeBlog!! ha ha).
Now all card bases with the exception of card 5 measure 4 1/8″ x 5 5/8″ with the stamping layer of whisper white measuring 4″ x 5 4/8″ (except for card 3 which has a 3″ x 5 5/8″ part layer.
Cards 1 and 2
Card one is a blueberry bushell card base, Card two is a lovely lipstick cardbase – both with gorgeous stamped images from the Painted Seasons Stamp Set. I used the largest pinecone stamp with lovely lipstick, and the smaller x7star stamp in blueberry bushell for the stamping layer. For the sentiment layer I used an off cut from the other card to give opposite effect. Both cards were stamped in whisper white with a sentiment from the All Adorned Stamp Set. Card one is embellished with enamel dots (night of navy as I don’t have blueberry bushell) and a gorgeous polka-dot tulle bow. Card two is embellished with one enamel dot and one bow both in lovely lipstick.
Cards 3 and 4
Both these cards are using Mossy Meadow cardstock for the card base, with a gorgeous stamped layer on whisper white. I used all three foliage stamps on these cards: Fern in Mossy Meadow, the three-leaf stamp in basic gray and for the smaller leaf I used crumb cake. Card three has a 3″ x 5 5/8″ panel section allowing a one inch strip of card base to show through. I stamped “Lots of love” from the Adorned Stamp set in Whisper White to the bottom right hand side. Card four is a vertical card and for the sentiment section I punched out a 2″ piece of whisper white on the triple banner punch, adhered it to a piece of mossy meadow cardstock, and fussy cut it out. I applied the layered section with dimensionals. This sentiment was from the Strong and Beautiful stamp set within the Spring/Summer catalogue and I stamped this in the colour crumb cake. Both cards were embelleshed randomly around the sentiment with clear enamel dots.
Card 5 and (yet to be made) 6!
Card five is a 4 1/8″ square card with a 4″ x 4″ stamping layer. I randomly stamped using the two top view of a pinecone stamp images for this card in Mango Melody and Basic Gray. Some contrast added using the x7star stamp in mossy meadow. For the sentiment I used the “Miss You” greeting from the All Adorned Set and stamped this in basic gray. I then punched out the sentiment using the everyday label punch and adhered this to a piece of mango melody cardstock and fussy cut. Frosted epoxy gems and basic rhinestone jewels were added to the centres of the pinecones.
Card six, well….. it isn’t actually a card as yet, however, I wanted to show you how good a quality these stamp sets are and just how versatile they are in terms of both simple stamping and colour choices. I used Early Expresso for the larger image and mossy meadow for the smaller image. They work extremely well together.
I hope I inspired you to try out some simplestamping….. I’ve went back to basics with my stamp sets, as often, the beautiful stamped images are often overlooked and cards geared towards fancy folds, or fancy layers….. try it out I guarantee you’ll have fun.
