Welcome to a special blog today as I am taking part in YouTube Blog Hop!
Welcome to this special blog episode and thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.
In this project make I am showcasing my favourite new Annual Catalogue DSP which is from the Bird Ballad Suite. I hope to show you how many ways you can be creative with this paper.
I used a whisper white card base layered with a piece of petal pink cardstock. My top layer is one of the many gorgeous DSPs in the set. I love the rainbow type feel of this DSP and I especially love how all of the colours compliment each other. This allows for easier co-ordination when making up the rest of your card, so many co-ordinating colours to choose from.
I cut out two circles using the largest circle die in the stitched shapes dies set, the first a piece of whisper white the second a piece of petal pink vellum from the perennial essence suite. I added a pre-cut image from another piece of the bird ballad DSP and adhered to the top
I also made a banner section using another piece of dsp and layered this with pool party cardstock.
For the sentiment I used Mossy Meadow and finally added some clear epoxy shapes to finish the front of the card.
For the inside I adhered a die cut circle in pool party, stamped with a further sentiment and added to fussy cut images to add to the pizzaz of this card! Beautiful!
Measurements:
Card Base 4.1 x 5.7″
Cardstock Layer 4 x 5.6″
DSP layer is 3.7″ x 5.5″
(All Layers are .1″ smaller on each edge than the prior layer)
Sentiment Layers – 1/2″ strip of DSP and .7″ of cardstock
I banner punched using my triple banner punch 🙂
