Hello everyone,

Welcome to the Blog Post for Week 2 of our Weekly Sketch Challenge for period 8th to 14th June complete and I am so happy to those who took part – it really is amazing how everyone creativity based on the same layout is different -I absolutely love seeing your crafty creations!

So this was the sketch which I drew up personally and I am so amazed by the lovely creations from you all – Well Done!

Entry 1 –

Our first sketch entry for this week was Lynn Benesik – Lynn is one of my team mates and this is her first sketch challenge so thank you Lynn for taking part. I love the highland heather colour theme and your stamping is very pretty!

Entry 2 –

This card is by the lovely Karen Jane Tilley. Karen has used my absolute favourite stamp set “Free as a Bird” in this card. I love the colours Karen you picked them well! Thanks for taking part (p.s. love the fussy cut images :))

Entry 3:

This Card is from another one of my team mates Victoria Littlewood. Loving the added subtle colours to your stamped area Victoria – these go really well with the Mossy Meadow! Thanks for entering.

Entry 4:

This handsome bad boy is from Elaine Thomson Smith, a fellow Scottish SU Demo, I absolutely love this card Elaine – I would never have thought about stamping a background with this Come Sail Away set but you have given me some new inspiration. Love the Pool Party and Night of Navy colour combos with the added twine and embellishment it really helps this card stand out. Thanks for sharing!

Entry 5

Now this card is from a lovely lady called Karen Egan. Karen is a team mate of mine and I had the pleasure of meeting her at OnStage back in November 🙂 Can’t wait till the next one Karen. I love that you’ve used Daisy Lane this card is just gorgeous! Thanks for sharing hun.

Entry 6

Number six was my own entry. I was late to upload my card as I was away all weekend but I managed a card when I got back. I just love how the new incolours pop with this stampset! I used a blender pen to draw out some colour at the larger floral images and added some co-ordinating embellishments – the main colour used is Pretty Peacock! My new fav!

Entry 7

Our final entry was from the fabulous Brenda Harrison. I think your card is so so pretty Brenda and love the colours you have chosen (and the little bling on the sentiment). I hope you enjoyed taking part as much as I enjoyed seeing your creation! 🙂

This gorgeous monotone card is from Louise Wheeler (one of my #teamsmithy ladies) what a fantastic card. Loving the colour and stamp choice Louise – thanks for sharing and for the inspiration for this stamp set 🙂
