Free online handmade card tutorial – A lovely handmade Christmas card featuring the Playful Penguins stamp set
This is an embossed monotone themed Christmas card made by Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Tricia Smith, based in Fife, Scotland, UK
Hello and welcome to #MakeitMonday.
Today’s project is a black, white and pumpkin pie themed card incorporating the lovely gather together bundle (stampset and dies). I absolutely love the Autumn Fall and really enjoyed making this card.
Instructions and Measurements:
The card base is basic black and white themed monotone card incorporating the playful penguins stampset (not available until September 4th)
I started with a black base measuring 4 x 6 inches, and a stamping layer in whisper white measuring 3 3/4″ x 5 3/4″ (2 eights of an inch border). I stamped in black and quickly added the clear emboss powder then heat set.
For the Penguin image I stamped with versamark and added the white emboss powder and heat set. I layered the stamped penguin vertically on the right side of the card, but before sticking down, I added some white twine and tied a bow (tried to tie a bow!).
I finished off the card with basic black jewels and basic rhinestone jewels.
