Stamp your own card background – #SimpleStamping 35

Learn how I made four cards using this technique

Hi and welcome to today’s blog which is episode 35 in my Simple Stamping series. I have stamped my own background to create this gorgeous handmade cards. I’m loving the nautical colours and the seaside theme we have going on here.

I am using my latest stamp set Seaside Notions that I purchased during the recent 24-hour sale. I made a few cards using this set in episode 33 which was last week’s project click here to view

I hope you like today’s project. This stamp set is featured in our Annual catalogue – why not Contact me for a free copy.

The colours I chose were Coastal Cabana, Smokey Slate, Crumb Cake and So Saffron (I love so saffron, this is the first time I have used it). All products used are listed below for your perusal.

Instructions and Measurements:

I started off with a sheet of A4 whisper white and I randomly stamped various images from this stamp set in various colours. I then cut up and layered my cards in all different ways.

All my card bases measure 4 1/8″ x 5 7/8″
All my full layers measure 4″ x 5 3/4″
Other layers and sections differentiate in size so please refer to the youtube tutorial below.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog today.
