Learn how to make handy business card holder using ink paper and stamps

Hi and welcome to today’s Make it Monday Episode 38!

I wanted to create something that I could give out alongside my business card and coffee and card class flyer so I came up with a double business card holder.

Now there are lots of these projects out there but I have made this based on my own measurements (initial inspiration to make these from the lovely Tammy Spruce who gifted me a similar type of business card holder – Tammy’s incorporated a calendar with only one pocket) and I am happy how this turned out. I love to create my own projects as it keeps my brain working.

This project is a good size for putting in your purse, your wallet or your pocket. I also added a belly band to give the business card holder more security.

The colour I chose for the holder was Petal Pink with Mossy Meadow for my stamping colour. The stamp set used is Abstract Impressions.

Instructions and Measurements:

Cut a piece of card stock to 4 1/2″ x 8 1/4″
With long side at top score at: 1 1/2″-4″-4 1/4″ and 6 3/4″
With short side at top score at: 1/4″ and 4 1/4″
Fold and burnish all lines.
Cut away the smallest three sections at each side of the cardstock (see video)
You will need x2 pieces of DSP for front and back measuring: 2 7/8″ x 3 7/8″
You will need x2 pieces of DSP for inside pockets measuring: 2 3/8″ x 3 7/8″
You will also need a 3/4″ strip of card stock for the belly band and a scrap piece of DSP to layer the top (needs to be light enough to stamp on).
