Welcome to today’s blog – Male themed golf birthday card
Hi and welcome to another Designer Series Paper episode, we are on number 16 of this series already. Today I am using the Country Club Suite DSP by Stampin’ Up! This DSP is one of the new mini catalogue products and it is just beautiful. Perfect for any golf lover in the family, and for male themed cards.
I almost forgot – HAPPY NEW YEAR 2020 everyone! I hope you are all not too delicate today after last night’s celebrations 🙂 I wish you a great new year full of love and laughter, and most of all I hope that you get all that you wish for in 2020.
I wanted to keep the card as simple as possible because the printed image on the paper I am using is stunning enough for the card in it’s own right.
I decided to use Night of Navy and Garden Green colours for this card as they are the co-ordinating colours for this suite. I used the Sending You Thoughts Stamp set which is one of our SAB items that you can get FREE if you spend £45 in my online shop.
I haven’t got the full suite for this Country Club Suite yet but it’s on my To Buy list for sure.

For the sentiment area I used two sentiments from the Sending You Thoughts Stamp set and I think that the font in this set is just amazing. I stamped each in two different colours – Night of Navy and Garden Green.
My aim this year is to make more generic projects such as birthday, thank you, etc.

Instructions and Measurements:
Card Base and Layers
Card base is 4 1/8″ x 5 7/8″
DSP Matt Layer 4″ x 5 3/4″
For the sentiment layer I simply cut down the remaining 2″ piece from my 6×6″ piece of DSP and used the reverse plaid (tartan) side as the matt layer with whisper white for the stamping layer.
