Welcome to today’s blog – A simple stamping project using masking techniques
Hi and welcome to another Simple Stamping Project to make this beautiful meerkat birthday card, we are on number 42 of this series already. Today I am using The Gangs All Meer free sale-a-bration item from our new mini catalogue from Stampin’ Up! This stamp set is just adorable.
I loved doing some basic masking using a post it note. You can see how I achieved this look by viewing my YouTube tutorial
I wanted to keep the card as simple as possible because the printed image from the stamping is the focus of this card.
I decided to use Smokey Slate Card stock and co-ordinating ink for this project. I also coloured the three meerkats with my stampin’ blends. I used Mango Melody, Real Red and Pacific Point to stamp the three little birthday hats.
This Stamp set is one of our SAB items that you can get FREE if you spend £45 in my online shop.
My Youtube channel is via the link below – I’d love for you to pop over to subscribe and watch this premiere with us.
For the sentiment area I used two sentiments from the stamp set, the first one I only added in to the top half to get the “Happy Birthday” on its own. Then I added “From all of us”.
I hope you like today’s project.
