Make it Monday #45 All Dressed Up Handmade Treat Bag

Welcome to today’s blog featuring All Dressed Up dies to make this treat bag

Hi and welcome to another Make it Monday episode, we are on number 45 of this series today.

Today’s project is using the All Dressed Up dies from the Best Dressed Suite in our 2020 Mini Catalogue. Such a stunning suite – I’ve loved playing with it so far. And I loved making this adorable treat bag.

This project is just fabulous!

I decided to use Mint Macaron and lovely lipstick for this project.

Isn’t this set just gorgeous! – I need to play with it more.

My Youtube channel is via the link below – I’d love for you to pop over to subscribe and watch this premiere with us.

I chose the “Hello Fabulous” sentiment as it is just… well…… fabulous!

I hope you like today’s project.

Instructions and Measurements:

Card Base and Layers
I cut a piece of a4 cardstock in half and die cut x2 of the handbag die in this set.

Then I embossed two pieces of card using the Tufted Embossing Folder from our annual catalogue and ran them through my die cutting machine too using the bag dies again. I then cut them down so that I could layer these on my main bag base.

I stamped, coloured using blends and die cut the little perfume bottle image and attached this to the front of the bag.

I cut out two strips for the handles (before realising there’s a die for those haha) and die cut the middle strap too. I stamped and cut out a sentiment using one of the label dies in the other die set that matches this suite, and stamped in lovely lipstick.

I finished the project off by attaching the label with the mint macaron co-ordinating ribbon and whisper white tassel – and voila – the bag was born!

There’s other variations that you can do with this bag, but I decided to have the sides fold in on itself – you can have them fold out too to make a wider bag. Such a great set.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog today.
