Welcome to today’s blog – A lovely simple stamping card using peaceful poppies accents
Hi and welcome to another Simple Stamping Project. Episode 45 today and today we are making an adorable hand made card using the accents from he peaceful poppies suite. I love how these really make the card pop.
I decided to use this card as Day 25 of the #31dayscraftchallenge too – two birds one stone kind of motto!
I love this stamp set. If you were to purchase this stamp set and the poppy parade ink and some poppy parade cardstock, your spend would be £45+ and you would qualify for a FREE stamp set, embellishment kit or pack of Designer Series Paper 🙂 Link to shop is in main menu and also below, at the products used section.

Instructions and Measurements:
Card Base and Layers
Card base is 4 1/8″ x 5 7/8″
Matt Section is appx 2″ x 3 1/2″ – you can decide on a size you prefer
I started by stamping the colour splash stamp, the largest of two in this set, on to the poppy parade layer in black. I love how this turned out.
I then stamped onto whisper white, and punched another sentiment using my 2″ circle punch.
I layered this on a piece of basic black which I punched out using my 2 1/4″ punch.
(The punches make for really quick cardmaking!)
I added an accent from my kit onto the lower section of my sentiment circles.
I stamped the “always remember” sentiment on the bottom.
I felt that this card was pure and simple and clean enough in its own right, and decided against adding embellishments.
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog today.
