Welcome to today’s blog – A lovely make it Monday friendship card using peaceful poppies accents

Hi and welcome to another Make it Monday Project. Episode 48 today and today we are making a lovely friendship card using the peaceful poppies suite. There is a little bit of everything in this card, stamping, DSP and accents.

I decided to use this card as Day 27 of the #31dayscraftchallenge too – two birds one stone kind of motto!

Instructions and Measurements:

Card Base and Layers
Card base is 4 1/8″ x 5 7/8″
DSP half size matt is 2″ x 5 7/8″

I started by adhering the DSP to my card base.
I then decided to stamp and colour images on the top half. I added more stamping effects using one of the colour splash stamps in the set.
I then layered up a piece of pool party on to basic black, added an accent from the pack in this suite, then stamped a sentiment and two images on the same piece of cardstock.
I finished off by adding two love hearts which I had previously punched out using the dog punch.
