Annual Catalogue 2019-20, Tutorial

Pretty Embossed Birthday Card

Welcome to today’s blog – A pretty embossed Birthday card

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today. Today’s project is an ink blended and embossed birthday card that turned out so pretty. I used the FREE stamp set called Happy Birthday to You and I think this set could cover a lot of different card themes.

Also – today is day 28 of the #31DaysCraftChallenge set by scrimpingmommyc.o.uk ! Only three more projects to go before this challenge ends.

I decided to use the DSP from the Best Dressed Suite as I liked the colours.

I incorporated some ink blending too on my stamping layer, as well as heat embossing.

Instructions and Measurements:

Card Base and Layers
Card base is 4 1/8″ x 5 7/8″
DSP Layer is 3 7/8″ x 5 1/2″
Stamping layer is 3 3/8″ x 5″

Step one was I layered a piece of the DSP from the Best Dressed Suite on some whisper white card stock.
Using Blushing Bridge, Flirty Flamingo and Smokey Slate inks I carried out some ink blending techniques to obtain the colour required.
The adorable Birthday Cake Image and the Happy Birthday Sentiment was stamped using Versamark ink.
My card was adhered together and I then finished off with adding some Wink of Stella and also some sequins from the Woven Threads Sequins Assortments Embellishments.

I love how it turned out, I hope you do to.
