Welcome to today’s DSP episode 21 Colourful and Bright Handmade Card
Hi and welcome to another blog post. Today is the 21st DSP Episode to make this Colourful and Bright Handmade Card. Today we are looking and using one of the annual catalogue suites – Follow Your Art Suite Bundle.
My bermuda bay card base was already prepared from a project I started months ago and didn’t get around to finishing. I achieved the fancy edging by using one of the co-ordinating dies. By layering blushing bride on the inside, I was able to let people see the edging clearer.
Unsure of which DSP to use to layer up the card I decided on this one with the whisper white background. By layering up my sentiment area with a previously embossed piece of blushing bride, this added more depth to my card.
For the main focal point of the card I used my circle punches as these are great for the sentiment area. I stamped a sentiment in Pacific Point (my favourite blue shade) and layered it with a co-ordinating piece of DSP.
The finishing touches that I added today were other elements from the matching embellishments in this suite. Oh, and don’t forget our fabulous Stampin’ Up! washi tape – love it.
