Welcome to today’s blog learning how to create this Clean and Simple Handmade Bee Card
Hello and thank you so much for joining me for yet another Simple Stamping Project Blog. Today’s Project is a Clean and Simple handmade card made using the Honey Bee Cling Stamp Set.
The colours I chose today were basic black, mango melody and whisper white – clean and simple alright! Let’s look more closely at this project.
Instructions and Measurements:
My choice for card size today is a 4″ x 6″ card base layered with whisper white measuring 5 7/8 x 3 7/8″.
Using my trimmer, I cut a piece of whisper white down to 2 3/8″ x 2 7/8″ and layered this on a piece of mango melody measuring 2 1/2″ x 3″.
My favourite stamp in this set is the larger of the two bee stamps. The first stamping was to stamp the largest bee in the centre of the rectangle stamping section. I then added a sentiment around the top of the bee.
The bee needed some more colour so I added some colour using the dark mango melody stampin’ blend pen.
For the layered section on the lower part of the card I cut a piece of whisper white measuring 3 7/8″ x 1″ and layered it on a piece of mango melody measuring 3 7/8″ x 1 1/8″.
To finish the card I stamped a sentiment in the centre and two floral images – one at each side. A card insert was added to finish the inside of the card.

I like this card that you made. You said your card base was 4 x 6. Did you use 12 x 12 paper and cut it 8 x 12 then folded it? Hope to here back from you. Thanks norma
Hi Norma thanks for visiting today – I used a piece of A4 cardstock which measures 8 2/8″ x 11 5/8″ appx 🙂 You can get x2 4×4 cards from one sheet which is great. Thanks
