Welcome to today’s Simple Stamping #53 – A Handmade Easter Card Tutorial
Hello and thank you so much for joining me for yet another Simple Stamping Project Blog – #53. Today’s tutorial is about how to make a handmade Easter card using Fable Friends.
The colours I choose were nice calming neutral colours such as daffodil delight, seaside spray, soft sea foam and petal pink. Lovely colours to remind me of spring.
Given the white card base this card was quite hard to photograph and also quite hard to get a good shot whilst filming. So I apologise if this got on your nerves, it did mine too trust me!
Instructions and Measurements:
My card base is Whisper White and measures 4 1/8″ x 5 7/8″
My Matt for my sentiment layer is one inch smaller than my card base and my Stamping layer is half an inch smaller again.
I stamped all of the images on the card base to start, alternating between colours.
Choosing the “I’m so glad we’re friends” sentiment was easy. For a nice effect I stamped on Seaside spray with seaside spray ink, what we call tone on tone and I only stamped around the edges.
Almost finished, I added my stamping layer and mixed up colours for both my image and sentiment. I then finished off the using some basic adhesive backed sequins.
