#SimpleStamping, Handmade Cards

An offer of Comfort & Hope

Welcome to today’s blog showcasing a card I made today with an offer of Comfort & Hope…

Hi and welcome to my blog. Today’s card is an offer of Comfort & Hope. A hand stamped card using the masking technique of a good old post-it note. I love this new stamp set of mine, the name is in the title of this blog, Comfort & Hope.

The first entry takes the limelight at the top of the blog for every challenge – well done Valerie! A pyramid card, how wonderful

Colour choices today were So Saffron, Mango Melody, Basic Grey, Soft Suede and Night of Navy. These colours really compliment each other well in today’s card.

I have linked all of the products further down this page for your perusal.

Now while I do not have a video tutorial for this project, I do hope to recreate it very soon using a different colour family.

Instructions

Card Base is Night of Navy and Measures 5″ X 5″
Whisper White Stamping Layer measures 4 3/4″ x 4 3/4″

You will need a 3″ square post-it note. Place this in the middle of your stamping layer.

Starting with lighter colours first, stamp as you wish around the edges of the post-it note. Work your way up to darker shades and the smaller stamps.

For the sentiment I stamped five generations of the same stamp starting at the bottom section and worked my way back up towards the top of the card.
