Welcome to today’s blog showcasing Pool Party Tones with a hint of Mint… in my Handmade Card
Hi and welcome to my blog. Today’s card is a handmade card using Pool Party Tones with a hint of Mint… A hand stamped card using the Comfort & Hope stamp set. I just cannot seem to put this stamp set down – I love it!
Colour choices today were Pool Party and Mint Macaron with a Whisper White Stamping Layer. The way that these two colours compliment each other so well makes me happy to have chosen them both.
The clear crisp images from our Cling Red Rubber Stamps makes for an easy stamping experience, even for beginners.
Four sentiments and six image stamps makes the possibilities endless for card making with this set.

I didn’t die cut my square elements I simply trimmed them on my Stampin’ Up! Trimmer for quickness with the same great result.
Now while I do not have a video tutorial for this project, I do hope to recreate it very soon using a different colour family.
Instructions
Card Base is Pool Party and Measures 4 1/8″ x 5 7/8″
Whisper White Stamping Layer is 1/4″ shorter and thinner – 3 7/8″ x 5 5/8″
Stamp your background on the whisper white layer and adhere to card.
Cut a piece of whisper white down to 1 7/8″ x 5 5/8″
Stamp on this strip before cutting down to 3 x 1 7/8″ x 1 7/8″ squares
You will need three pool party squares measuring 2″x 2″ to layer up your white stamped squares.
Stamp the sentiment of choice on to whisper white and cut down to give you three separate words. Layer on some pool party cardstock.
Adhere all of your elements in desired location on card, some adhered flush to the cardbase, some raised with dimensionals.
