Painted Poppies Ink Blended Friendship Card

Welcome to today’s blog. I have made a Painted Poppies Ink Blended Friendship Card

Hi and welcome to my blog. Today’s card is a Painted Poppies Ink Blended Friendship Card. I blended my latest new inks, the new in-colours 2020-2020. Why not try this at home, it is really quick to make.

Colour choices today were: Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider, Just Jade, Magenta Madness and Misty Moonlight. My main focal colour choice for the card is Basic Black. Stamp sets used were Painted Poppies and Peaceful Moments.

The clear crisp images from our Cling Red Rubber Stamps makes for an easy stamping experience, even for beginners. Both stamp sets have a co-ordinating die set available and by purchasing either of the bundles you can save 10%.

Ten sentiments in the peaceful moments and and nine image stamps in the painted poppies set makes the possibilities endless for card making with this set. For an even darker stamped image I used Stazon.

Toward the bottom of this page I have linked all the products used today in one handy link.

Blending brush used today is actually a make-up brush purchased from one of my local discount stores.

Instructions

Card Base is Whisper White and Measures 4 1/8″ x 5 7/8″
Basic Black Matt Layer measures 3 5/8″ x 5 3/8″
Whisper White Stamping Layer is 3 3/8″ x 5 1/4″

Step 1 – Attach your stamping layer to either a glass craft matt or piece of grid paper using washi tape on every side. Try and get an even coverage on each edge.

Step 2 – Start blending from the bottom up starting with the lightest shade. First is bumblebee, then cinnamon cider, then just jade, then magenta madness and finally Misty Moonlight. I decided to gently add misty moonlight around all edges of my layer too.

Keeping everything in its place, stamp your images across the bottom section using Stazon Black Ink. Stamp your sentiment towards the top.

Gently remove the washi tape, look how fabulous your blended creation is.

Adhere all layers together.

After the tutorial film ended, I decided to use wink of stella on all the poppy flowers for some added sparkle.
