Daisy Jar Open Front Handmade Card

Today’s project is a Daisy Jar Open Front Handmade Card. I have used various die sets and punches for this card. All using Stampin’ Up! UK products from my online shop.

This card was more of a therapeutic crafting session for me. I took my time die cutting various elements that I wanted to use. And then I hit a brick wall.

Earlier that morning I had been experimenting with with my Stampin’ Ink and Alcohol Solution. I tested it on normal card, watercolour card and our white shimmer card. I chose to stamp out some daisies using my daisy punch (Large and Medium ones).

Here is a close up of the front of the card. I used some DSP from the World of Good Suite, black ribbon and two sentiments from the Flowering Blooms Stamp Set.

Just look at this stamp set, it is beautiful.

Instructions

1 – Card Bases measure 4-1/8″ x 5-7/8″
2 – Card Matt Layer 1 is gold foil and measures 4″ x 5-3/4″. I die cut out a rectangle from the inside to save some of this paper. The card insert is the same size but in whisper white.
3 – Matt layer 2 is Whisper White and measures 3-7/8″ x 5-5/8″
4 – Using the Nested Labels Dies (2nd Largest) I die cut out a section from the front of card.
5 – Using my Jar punch and daisy punch I punched out x2 daisies from my inky background and x1 jar from the DSP.
6 – I adhered these to the inside of card (inside the label section) added the black ribbon, a little gold heart (using dog punch) and a gold gem. Make sure that your card opens and closes properly.
7. I added a sentiment on both the outside and inside of card.
