Let’s Create a Loaded Envelope

My blog today is to share my blog Let’s Create a Loaded Envelope with you. We will be using the retired tool that is the Envelope Punch Board too!

Welcome to today’s crafting adventure! I’m excited to share this beautiful card project using the Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper. Below you’ll find everything you need to create this stunning project, plus a video tutorial to guide you through each step.

I’d love to see your version of this project! Feel free to adapt it based on the supplies you have available, and don’t forget to share your creation in my Facebook Group.

Why not have a go at creating this or a similar project (based on what supplies you have to hand) I’d love for you to share it with me over in my Facebook Group.

Supplies Needed

Basic White Cardstock
Nests of Winter DSP (part of Nests of Winter Suite Collection)
Cherry Cobbler Stamp Pad
Enduring Beauty Stamp Set (grab it for £7.20 as it is retiring – don’t wait too long as stock is reducing)
Stampin’ Up! Envelope Punch Board (retired)
Multipurpose Adhesive
Stampin’ Up! Trimmer
Adhesive Backed Dragonflies & Birds Embellishments
Basic crafting tools (glue, wipes, snips)

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Take a piece of the 12×12 DSP and cut to 8-7/8″ x 8-7/8″
Using your envelope punch board line up to 3-3/4″ mark, punch and score then replicate the next three punch and score by lining up the first.
Fold and burnish and glue leaving on large flap open.

Layering

From your off-cut piece of DSP cut a panel to 5-1/2″ x 3″ and adhere to envelope front but with opposite print side up
Cut White Card panel to: 5″ x 2-1/2″ and adhere over coloured panel (be sure to stamp your sentiment on it first if that’s easier for you)

Feature Panels

Create fussy cut focal images from the other papers in this DSP pack.
Position on your front panel to your preference.
Create a small strip panel to act as a tuck spot for your last flap on the reverse of envelope.

Finishing Touches

Embellish to your liking!
Add contents suitable for the finished envelope size which is 4-3/4″ x 6-1/2″

Isn’t the finished project gorgeous! I absolutely love this! Scroll through the slide show below!
