Handmade Gift Card Holder using Stampin’ Up! Products
Free Step by Step Guide on how to make a handmade gift card holder
Thank you for visiting the blog today – today we are learning how to make this handmade gift card holder in the shape of a standard A6 card using the Night Before Christmas Suite by Stampin’ Up!
I really love the vintage feel of this suite and have used it over and over again and never been disappointed with the outcome. In fact, I plan to show my craft class ladies how to make these at my next class.
Instructions and Measurements
Card Base Cut a piece of A4 cardstock along the longest side down to your desired card height. I cut mine at 5 7/8″ Score at 4 1/8″ and 8 2/8″ On the third panel cut away section to form card holder.
Card Layers DSP layer for front measures 4″ x 5 3/4″ as do the two very vanilla layers for the inside. Utilise the DSP segments that you have left to make a layered section on the inner front cover of your card.
Adhere the gift card flap down on the left and bottom sections only. Decoration

This is a project made by Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Tricia Smith, based in Fife, Scotland, UK and is perfect for a four pack of Ferraro Rocher’s
Hello and welcome to another Christmas Series Blog this is number 25 which is a Ferraro Rocher Gift Box – it is just adorable.
I used the Night Before Christmas Suite as I think it is a lovely vintage and traditional looking suite which brings back many a happy memory growing up in the 80s.
Instructions and Measurements:
Start with a piece of cardstock measuring 11 inches by 8 1/4 inches.
With the longest side at the top score at: 1/2 – 2 1/2 – 8 1/2 – 10 1/2 inches
Turn once and score at: 2 – 4 – 6 and 8 inches (this leaves a 1/4 section for adhering)
Fold and burnish and cut up to each score line on both of the shortest edges
Decide which way you want each tab to close at each end and cut out and build as directed in tutorial
Add your DSP layers: x4 measuring 5 7/8″ x 1 7/8″ for main body of box x2 measuring 1 7/8″ squared for both ends
Adhere to box base.
Attach ribbon around your box and add one of the lovely little jingle bells embellishments. I used white bakers twine to tie my bell onto my ribbon section.
Finally add a black die cut image of Santa and his Reindeers to your box and a label too if you are gifting the box to friends or family.
I finished off the project by adding wink of stella to my die cut Santa and sleigh

Free online handmade gift box step by step tutorial for Christmas, Birthdays or a thank you gift!
This is a project made by Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Tricia Smith, based in Fife, Scotland, UK
Hello and welcome to Christmas Series number 24 which is a cut pizza style top folding box – perfect for Christmas gifts or table favours.
I have used my all time favourite DSP wrapped in Plaid along with some basic black cardstock and other elements from the Wrapped in Plaid Suite.
Instructions and Measurements:
Box
Cut an A4 piece of cardstock down to 9″ x 6″ inches and with the longest side at the top score at 1″, 4″, 5″ and 8″ turn once and score at 1″ and 6″. Fold and burnish all scorelines. With the longest side at the top, score up x4 score lines to meet the first score line running across – flip and do the same on the other longest side. Add Dsp to top of box which measures 3 7/8″ x 2 7/8″ and one to the front of box which should measure 3 7/8 x 7/8″. Cut a further two pieces of DSP for the two sides and these should measure 2 7/8″ x 7/8″ Adhere as instructed in tutorial video.
Belly Band
Cut a 1″ strip of cardstock and manually wrap around box to gauge where score lines are. Add your ribbon to the belly band using tear and tape and adhere making sure that the fit is not too tight to allow the recipient to remove and replace the band as necessary.
Add your punched circles embellishment area and punched tree shape and finish off with adding some spring punch shapes.

Free online step by step tutorial on how to make a handmade gift bag for Christmas or Birthdays
This is a project made by Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Tricia Smith, based in Fife, Scotland, UK
Hello and welcome to an extra #MakeitMonday tutorial – today we are making an awesome super traditional looking Christmas Bag. I love the black with the plaid DSP.
Instructions and Measurements:
Cut two pieces of basic black cardstock down to 10″ x 8″.
Score at 2″ on three sides – the remaining top side is the top of your bag so score at 1 1/2″
Fold and burnish – remember and fold your bag flap over the opposite way.
Cut and adhere as instructed in the video.
I decided to only add DSP to the front of the bag – the DSP should measure 3 7/8″ x 5 7/8″ for the main front and 3 7/8″ x 1 3/8″ for the flap at the top.
Punch out a starburst shape in black and 2″ shape in shaded spruce or other green card.
Stamp a sentiment in Cherry Cobler ink.
Add some snowflake stamps in whisper white ink.
Punch out some black and shaded spruce sprig shapes
